I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. I need that sometimes a little motivation does alot for a person .
When am I not being used as a catfish smh anyways Thanks !
whats good world , figured I write this on here since no one really pays mind here and the fact that this is more for me than anything else. I can honestly say this has been a hell of a year for me. I vowed last year to make this a better one and it has been my worst. Ive hit a slump I lost people I trusted, people I genuinely loved, and even friends. Its on me to believe its partially my fault and I know God wouldnt give me this life if I wasnt strong enough to live it, but it sucks to fight and fight to only see no one in your corner at the end of the round. All I ask is that no matter how easy it may seem that I have things I don’t and never did I just managed, and since im writing this post I dont want you to think less of me because im human too regardless of my image. I feel like ive lost everything …
Frolicking in the autumn leaves, this little lion cub is having the time of her life as she excitedly plays in her enclosure.
Tiny cub Karis proved she’s not too dissimilar to human children as she threw herself into the pile of golden leaves carefully collected by her keepers, even ending up with a pile on her head.
Staff at the Blair Drummond Safari Park, near Stirling, Scotland, had been raking up the leaves to keep the attraction tidy, when Karis’s keeper Brian Reid realised that his little charge might enjoy playing in them and moved the pile into her enclosure.
